EVENTS SHEF Events: SHEF is looking for alumni nominations The Steilacoom Historical Education Foundation (SHEF) has opened nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award for the current school year. Presented annually, the award is given to a graduate of Steilacoom High School who is recognized by members of our community for his/her accomplishments and service to others. The goal is to honor those that have given back to the community or achieved something extra ordinary and to give our present students a role model. SHEF is looking for recommendations from the faculty and staff, parents and patrons of the district. The award will be presented during Winter Break at the alumni basketball game. Nominations must include: Nominee/s Name, Year of Graduation, Reason you have nominated this person, Nominator Name and Date. Contact Sharon J. Thanks to the owners of over 150 gorgeous collector vehicles, and the planning team led by Jim & Carol Beckwith, this fundraiser will support future SHEF scholarships and school grants programs to benefit Steilacoom District students.
