F A Q Frequently Asked Questions: Who is eligible for Scholarships? All students living in the community are eligible to apply for scholarship awards. Applicants must be residents of our community and enrolled, or planning to enroll, in an accredited post-secondary education program. How can I help? Any size of donation is appreciated and beneficial. We encourage you to give as generously as you can, but be assured that any and all gifts are appreciated. Invite our president, Linda Evanson to come and talk to your organization. Sponsor a scholarship, grant, or leave a legacy (see scholarships). Tell your friends and co-workers about SHEF. When people retire start a scholarship in their name. Establish a memorial. Make a donation. Volunteer to join the board or help when you can. Donate stock, property, or estates. Provide a life income vehicle, pooled income funds, charitable trusts, charitable gift annuities. How can I learn more about SHEF?
